Is there jira about having the table browser work with sqlalchemy?

Indeed currently only the Editor is implemented to work with any connector. To have metastore work properly it is quite a bit of work to properly abtract and do it (they are 10s of API in views.py).

Here we should properly implement it (e.g. like notebook API) so that it stays simple and maintenable.

If the goal is to make sqlalchemy work in table browser, we should prioritize other more critical things over it

    1. This is the change I spoke about yesterday. I see things here are quite stale has there's been quite a few changes.
