Description From Last Updated
  1.

  2. apps/metastore/src/metastore/views.py (Diff revision 1)

Would it make sense to port to the notebook API instead?
(basically we call notebook and not hs2 api directly, that way it is fully clean)

  3.

  1. Nice one!

    Probable follow-ups:

#0 Works with listing DBs too? (or need to port too)
  2. We lose specific support for Impala, and then HMS?

    Step #1: add impala here?

Step #2: move beeswax/api/table to notebook/hiveserver2 connector? Then we can remove the native calls to /beeswax/* and leverage notebook fully

  3.

  1. Nice refactoring!

  2.
